SARAGA/LIPSHY, PL is an authorized agent of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and is able to issue title insurance policies throughout the State of Florida. Title Insurance protects owners and lending companies against defects in the ownership of real property. There are essentially two types of title insurance policies that protect against adverse claims to title to real property: (a) an “owner’s policy” protects you as the owner of the property; and (b) The “mortgagee’s policy” protects your lender/ mortgagee, if any. We are providing a Title Expenses Calculator in order to help determine what the approximate costs of a title insurance policy would be.
